FEEA has a small staff - currently just five people at our Colorado Headquarters and two in Washington, D.C. - so volunteers are a very important part of getting the word out about our programs and services. Hundreds of federal employees and retirees across the country and around the world help inform the federal workforce about FEEA and serve as resource points in their local communities.
FEEA has three main types of volunteers: Event, Scholarship, and CFC.
Event volunteers help FEEA raise funds, educate others and provide administrative support. Get some ideas about how you can put the "Fun" in fundraising, learn about upcoming FEEA-sponsored events across the country and access downloadable FEEA info here .
Scholarship volunteers join our regional committees, meeting one or more times during the summer months to evaluate scholarship applications from local students and select winners. FEEA currently has 27 committees across the country, each organized by a regional chairperson. Learn more about what it takes to become a scholarship volunteer here .
CFC volunteers assist FEEA during the fall Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) season, which generally runs between Labor Day and mid-December. CFC volunteers may attend CFC events at their own agencies and/or at other nearby agencies or locations. Learn more about becoming a CFC volunteer or request a FEEA representative for your CFC event here .
