As a junior majoring in finance and management science at the University of Miami (Coral Gables, FL), Gilad Ashpis greatly admires Warren Buffett as both a “great investor and a socially responsible and public-minded business leader.” He plans to become a university professor who teaches and researches problems in the business world. In addition to his coursework, Gilad is currently working on a research project with a professor exploring issues in water scarcity. He is also the treasurer of his fraternity and recently earned his SCUBA certification.
