Walker Jones is a junior majoring in agriculture business and economics at Virginia State University. His career goals include earning a Masters degree in agriculture and employment with the USDA. Walker enjoys sports and has channeled that into rewarding volunteer work with the Special Olympics. He believes public service is important not just for young people, but for everyone, and says, “The work doesn’t have to be extravagant or involve throwing dollars at a situation. Every high school or college student has the appropriate skill sets to help someone in some way.
