Katherine Tran aspires to be a medical professional. Although she has not chosen a specific medical field, this freshman at Wellesley College in Massachusetts plans to major in Biology and minor in Psychology. Katherine has been introduced to all types of personalities and backgrounds through her various jobs and volunteer opportunities. “I can vehemently say that understanding people, no matter how different, interests me the most.” This is her motivation behind studying psychology. She genuinely finds humanity interesting, and loves understanding the story that each person she meets has to tell.

Katherine plays volleyball and classical piano, and has a deep appreciation for cultural foods and travel. She enjoys using makeup as one of many routes to build self-confidence and de-stress, and enjoys applying makeup on her friends and dorm-mates. She cares deeply about her parents and two sisters, who inspire her to always do her best and love what she does.
