Gina Lento is a junior in the Pharmacy Program at Northeastern University. She will graduate in 2014 with a Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD), and looks forward to becoming a Clinical Pharmacist. Gina works as a Pharmacy Intern at various locations including the University of Massachusetts Medical School, UMass Memorial Medical Center, Wal-Mart Pharmacy and East Boston Neighborhood Health Center. She also is highly involved in the Honors Program at Northeastern, and a board member of her college’s chapter of the American Pharmacists Association – Academy of Student Pharmacists, and leads volunteering opportunities for the students in the chapter.

Gina is very interested in working for the federal government. She is planning to do her 6th year clinical rotations at the FDA and the Veterans Administration, so she can explore these career options. In high school track meets she participated in Pole Vaulting, and has been known to jump over poles eight feet high.
