Brian Kelly is in his second year of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program (DPT) at the University of Connecticut in Storrs. After he receives his DPT, he would like to become specialized in orthopedics and eventually open his own physical therapy practice. He would also enjoy pursuing research and teaching positions in a DPT curriculum. Brian is currently working on a research project involving baseball pitching kinematics and kinetics, and he works part time at an outpatient physical therapy clinic, as an aide in North Haven, during breaks from school.

Brian is vice president of his class, a leadership position that he greatly enjoys. He has also been a member of the Connecticut Student Special Interest Group, exploring pertinent issues for physical therapy students and educating its members on political bills that will affect his profession. He loves singing, and has competed twice in UConn Idol.
