Rachel Byrd is a graphic design major at Delta State University where she also tutors second graders in the local community through the Bolivar County Literacy Center.  She would like to one day own her own art studio where, “kids can come to use their imaginations, express themselves and explore new horizons through different mediums.”  Inspired by her parents' motto to always "give more than you take", Rachel's volunteer work is very important to her and includes teaching at her church, babysitting, coaching little league cheer, and playing Bingo with the elderly.
