Brittany Yalamanchili is a Pharmacy student at Rutgers University, Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy. In her first year, Brittany hopes to someday become a clinical oncology pharmacist, focused in pediatrics, and to become a pharmacy technician within the next year. Her most important extra-curricular activity has been volunteering at the hospital, at her school, and various other places. “Volunteering has taught me that there are so many people in the world who all have something to share,” Brittany says. “Because of my experiences I know that I want to work in a career that allows me to interact with a variety of people.”
Brittany grew up in a family that taught her to work hard and learn from her mistakes. “My parents never allowed me to give in to failure.” She is passionate about saving the environment, and the topic of global warming. Her favorite movie is The Day After Tomorrow.
