Zachary Fox is a freshman student of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Minnesota in Twin Cities. Zachary learned from his parents the value of ambition, motivation and work ethic. His goal is to become involved in the private space industry, as he believes that in the upcoming years it will become the forerunner of space travel and flight. He also hopes to one day make space tourism practical by providing an affordable way for the average citizen to see the Earth from space.

Over the summer, Zachary built and launched a high-powered rocket, and plans on continuing this hobby throughout his life. He is also on the University’s Competitive Rowing Crew. With the rowing team, he says, “not only do I now have a commitment to something greater than myself to become the best I can be, but I will build strong relationships with some of the best people I’ll ever meet.”
