Molly Finnegan studies mathematics with an emphasis in secondary education, at the University of Northern Colorado, in Greeley. This freshman is active with a group called Christian Challenge, which has both guided her faith and encouraged her in her studies. In turn, this has encouraged her to be as supportive to future freshmen at UNC, as well as in high school when she begins teaching high school math. Molly enjoys sharing her beliefs and her faith through summer camp, and being a mentor. She is grateful to her parents for supporting her academic choices, and giving support and encouragement all the way through her schooling. Her dad, David, works with the Department of the Treasury. “My dad’s hard work ethic and balance between work and family life has been a great example for my own work ethic and living a balanced life now and in the future,” she says.
