Will Brandenburg studies Theater and English at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. Originally from Tofte, Minnesota, close to the Canadian border, Will has been inspired throughout his high school career by teachers very passionate about their fields. Their excitement has rubbed off, most especially in the arts. Will ’s involvement in theater productions taught him how to work well with others and gave him confidence in himself. He has not yet chosen a career, but he knows these experiences onstage will guide him later in life.

Will is also inspired by his parents’ deep care for their work. His mother and sponsor Ellen, with the Forest Service, ingrained in him a passion for environmental stewardship that he will always live by. Will works on campus in the Studio Art Department. He loves biking, going to plays, reading sonnets, and watching Glee.
