Dana Sly attends Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa, and is a freshman planning to major in Art History. She dreams of a career curating exhibits, in an art museum about furniture and everyday objects. Dana is drawn to groups that are slightly offbeat and involve trivia. She plans to continue her love of trivia into museum career, where she will include cool, offbeat facts in descriptions of the historic significance of everyday objects.

Dana was very involved with her high school’s quiz bowl team, practicing, competing in tournaments, and writing questions for her school’s own tournament. In college, she is getting involved in organizations like Orchestra, and the Scandinavian Appreciation Society. She adores romantic comedies from the 1930s and1940s, sewing, and finding things in thrift stores, and is afraid of butterflies.
