Fallon Jackson

jackson fallonFallon Jackson dreams of becoming the manager of a racehorse farm in either the Thoroughbred or Quarter Horse industry. This freshman at the University of Kentucky is studying Equine Science and Management, and would especially love to specialize in breeding and foaling. Fallon got her start in the agriculture industry through 4-H. With her agricultural background, Fallon has witnessed several cattle being born, and even assisted in the birth of one. She has handled 1,300-pound steers and shown horses competitively for ten years. Future Farmers of America has impacted her immensely as well. “For four years it was my life. It guided me to my career and for that I am eternally grateful.”

Fallon has continued to be involved in agricultural activities at UK through the UK Western Equestrian Team, the Horse Racing Club, and Block and Bridle. She greatly looks up to her mother, and sponsor, Julie, with the VA. “She never forced me to do anything, but has always been there for me and pushed me to do my best.”
