Andrea Kropf has worked for the U.S. Department of Transportation for 14 years. She is in her second year of graduate studies at Northwestern University, earning her Master's of Science in Learning and Organizational Change. Her goal is to utilize her education for continual success in her job as a government employee. As an undergraduate student, Andrea seized every opportunity she could to travel for school: which led to two semesters in exchange programs, one to LSU in Baton Rouge Louisiana, and one to London, England to study comparative criminal justice systems, as well as to New York for the Model United Nations program. Today, her motivations have changed: “My children inspire me. I want to be a good role model for them to show them the value of a good education.” Andrea’s insatiable quest for knowledge has not changed; her favorite past time is still reading a good book.
