Rebecca Buckman is in her junior year at Western Kentucky University, in Bowling Green. Her goal is to earn a Masters in Accountancy, pass the CPA exam, work for a CPA firm, and then maybe continue her career as a private accountant. Her father and sponsor Robert, with the Army Corps of Engineers, has inspired her success by always encouraging her to do her best, and always being openly proud of all her accomplishments. Her job on campus is to encourage her fellow students in return; as a Peer Intrusive Advisor, she advises students who are on bad academic standing with the university.

Rebecca volunteers in addition to her job and academics. “The volunteer work I do as part of my sorority is very important to me because it is a way for me to give back to the community and my university. It is also a way for me to better myself.” Rebecca is a sucker for the cheesy jokes on Laffy Taffy wrappers.
