Thomas Kozak is a senior Business Economics major at the University of California, Los Angeles, minoring in Accounting. His favorite extra-curricular activity is a program called VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance), where he is a board member and teaches students how to file individual tax returns. He also files low-income individual tax returns for the elderly and for students. This opportunity was, for Thomas, a perfect mix of helping people and learning more about his intended field.
Thomas hails from Glen Ellyn, IL, and is a huge Chicago sports fan. He loves the Bulls, Bears, White Sox, and the Blackhawks, (however he has never once rooted for the Cubs.) Thomas will start his career off at Ernst and Young, LLP in San Francisco starting in 2012, and he hopes to work there for the foreseeable future. Additionally, he wishes to pass the California CPA test by January 2013.
