Jacoby Wilkerson is a freshman of the class 2015 at the University of Houston, majoring in Financial Management. His family has seen much struggle, and this greatly motivates his drive to succeed. Jacoby plans on working as an accountant or financial manager for a major corporation, owning his own firm, and finally, becoming a CFO. Jacoby is a very thoughtful person who likes to sit and think about the many ways he can improve himself as individual, and ways he can become more successful as a confident person. He believes it’s important for youth to be involved in public service, because it will help them to grow mentally and mature. Jacoby greatly enjoys sports, and in addition to his studies, he works at his campus Recreation and Wellness Center.
