Rachel Bynum’s dream job has long been to design and build tree houses and underground houses for individuals. This sophomore at the University of North Texas, in Denton, absolutely loves outdoor activities like kayaking, rock-climbing, and backpacking, which her dad got her excited about while she was still young. Rachel looks forward to fulfilling her career dreams in Washington or Oregon, where there is a larger demand for luxury tree houses, and also “because they are the most outdoor-enthusiast friendly states I have ever visited!”
Rachel is passionate about working hard to achieve her goals. She was homeschooled through high school, and by the time she graduated, she had acquired 51 college credit hours. Rachel is also proud to have climbed three “fourteeners” in Colorado, as well as Mt. St. Helens, which was one of the highlights of her life.
