Morgan Wade is from Orange, Virginia, a small town in the country, studying at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This freshman plans on majoring in Spanish and earning her Masters in Education, with the intention of becoming an elementary school Spanish teacher. In elementary school, Morgan herself was enrolled in a program allowing her to learn her math and science subjects in Spanish. Now, she absolutely loves working with children, who she feels are "so much smarter than we realize they are. We can learn so many things from them if we give them the chance to speak.”
During the summer Morgan works at the Gordon Barbour Child Care in Gordonsville, Virginia. With their endless support, her parents inspire her to succeed. “I know that I want to make them proud by being the best that I can be and earning a higher education.”
