Jessica Wilson works with the US EPA as a Contracting Officer by day, and attends Strayer University in the evenings. This busy new mother of a 15-month old son wants to ensure that she is offering a rich and nourishing environment for him to experience; therefore, she is equipping herself with various opportunities of growth that in return will benefit herself and her family. Her goal is to continue in the Acquisition Management profession and phase into the management and leadership roles. Jessica looks forward to engaging in meaningful dialogues with her constituents and colleagues as she pursues higher education, learning and career advancement.

Jessica is outspoken on “paying it forward” to her community. “Public service is an opportunity to give back, by reciprocating my appreciation for those who assisted me. One such example; on a weekly basis I volunteer at a local daycare promoting reading at an early age.” Jessica also enjoys her role as a professional image consultant, preparing women for special events such as first prom, wedding day, or a job interview, helping women of all ages to look their best.
