Kaitlin Collier

Collier_Kaitlin Kaitlin Collier is a senior at University of West Florida, Pensacola, majoring in Accounting. Her goal is either go into accounting for a non-profit Christian mission organization, or to go on for her masters in accounting to become a professor. She believes that the passion of the instructor can have a huge impact on a student. As a single mom, Kaitlin’s mother Verna taught her and her sister that she is capable of doing anything, and has encouraged her to be independent and able to provide for herself.

In addition to her studies, Kaitlin enjoys her part-time work as a co-op student at Saufley Field Navy Base. She also teaches middle school girls at her church on Wednesday nights. About her job, Kaitlin says “it has shown me how much I desire to work with people. I want my future career to mean more than just sitting behind a desk.” Kaitlin is getting married in July of 2012.
