Courtney Salazar dreams of becoming a museum curator at a prestigious American history museum. Back in her hometown of Yuma, AZ, Courtney started a community service club at her high school to raise money for local charities. Now in her third year at Arizona State, Courtney’s early volunteer service has inspired her to choose a career that allows her to interact with others as an educator. Courtney also thrives through athletics. As an avid runner and soccer player, Courtney says many people are surprised to learn that she can keep up with the guys in any football or sports conversation. In times of doubt, Courtney says her parents’ faith in her is contagious, inspiring her to keep believing in herself.
