DeBrittany Mitchell

Mitchell_DeBrittanyDeBrittany Mitchell of Conyers, GA describes herself as a product of two individuals with a strong record of commitment to public service. Her father, a retired Army veteran, and her mother, an employee at the CDC for over a decade, instilled in DeBrittany the value of contributing to the betterment of the lives of others. DeBrittany’s ultimate career goal is to become a White House advisor. As a 1st year student at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA, and a candidate for a Master of Liberal Arts degree concentrating in Government, she is well on her way.

“Public service must be more than doing a job efficiently,” says DeBrittany. “As a career, it must be a life-long dedication to the people and to the nation with full recognition that every human being is entitled to your best effort on their behalf.” DeBrittany currently works at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. She loves reading, writing, and cheerleading.
