Alice Yang hails from Johns Creek, Georgia. While she is still considering her career options, she knows she wants a job that allows her to help those in need. Her dream job is one that will take her around the world and make a difference to humanity. Alice’s mother Li Yan is central to her life. “Everything I am is because of her. Though she is a tiger mom at times, she has instilled in me the work ethic and morals that have let me succeed in school…. This woman is amazing.”

Alice knows it is extremely important for young people to be involved in productive public service. One of her favorite new classes is a “fighting hunger” class, demonstrating what she feels is the immense potential in young people of America that has yet to be harnessed. Alice loves sports as well as dubstep and going to raves and shows.
