- Eligible: NFFE members, their spouses and college-age dependents.
- Awards: $1,000 per winner; 2 scholarships will be awarded for 2011-12
- Application: Eligible students will be entered in both the NFFE contest and FEEA's regular scholarship contest with submission of the NFFE application. Applications for the 2012-2013 school year will be available on the Web site by January 1, 2012.

FEEA mourns the passing of Rick Brown, President of the National Federation of Federal Employees and Vice President of FEEA's Board of Directors. In recognition of Rick's unstinting devotion to federal employees, FEEA joins with NFFE in announcing the Richard N. Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund. Donations made in Rick's name will fund this new scholarship initiative.
FEEA thanks the BlueCross BlueShield Association for it's foundational gift of $5,000 to the fund.
