Did You Know?

A childcare program could save your agency nearly $500 per employee through reduced turnover.

Are you a full-time or part-time federal employee with a child in a licensed childcare facility? Is your family income lower than average?

If so, you may be eligible for a special subsidy, in which your agency will pay a significant portion of your childcare bill for you. Seven years ago Congress approved a pilot program allowing federal agencies to use appropriated funds to provide childcare tuition assistance to their lower-income employees. Many agencies were not taking advantage of the program because of the administrative burden, so FEEA stepped into the gap. Today FEEA and FCCS, FEEA Childcare Services, administer dozens of programs for thousands of parents and children.

Are you unsure whether or not your agency has a program. Ask your human resources representative or check a list of all the programs FEEA administers here>

If you have any questions or need to provide updated contact information, please contact our childcare team here>  If you are already participating and have changed providers, you must provide FEEA with a new OPM form 1644. Dowload OPM form 1644 here>
