In honor of its 2010 National Training Program to be held in New Orleans, Federally Employed Women (FEW) is adopting two schools affected by Hurricane Katrina, in hopes of providing books, uniforms and other needed supplies to students. FEW's goal is to raise $5,000 for each school.

FEEA is assisting FEW by collecting donations for the effort online and via check. Donations can be made here by choosing "FEW: A Helping Hand" from the Gift Designation list.  Checks payable to FEEA – FEW: A Helping Hand may be sent to: FEEA, 3333 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Suite 300, Lakewood, CO 80227.  Additional information is available on FEW's web site .

• Eligible: Members of FEW's Great Lakes and Hoosier Hills Chapters
  
• Awards: $500 per student maximum
  
• Application: Eligible students will be entered in both the FEW chapter contest and FEEA's regular scholarship contest with submission of the FEEA application, when instructions from chapter officials are followed.
