FEEA is truly federal employees helping federal employees. FEEA receives most of its
funding through pledges made during the Combined Federal Campaign to pledge
#11185. Funds are returned to communities based on the amount donated in that area during
the CFC. The amount available in your region depends directly on donations from you and your
co-workers. Your gift can make a difference!
Of the thousands of charities participating in the CFC, FEEA is the only charity that exclusively
helps civilian federal and postal employees. Giving to FEEA can make a difference to your family
or your fellow workers' families. FEEA receives no government funds. For more information
on FEEA and the CFC, please visit our CFC FAQ.

In addition to CFC donations and individual support, FEEA also receives funding and in-kind
support from corporate sponsors. FEEA relies on a number of corporate sponsors to
supplement the individual donations it receives. Without these corporate partners who believe in
giving back to the federal community they serve, FEEA would not be able to assist as many
federal employees in need each year.
Corporations interested in becoming FEEA sponsors should contact us for more information.
The Blue Cross/Blue Shield Federal Employee Program (FEP)
provides at least one special distinction scholarship in each of FEEA's
26 regions. Since 1989, FEP has been providing invaluable support to
FEEA's efforts to help federal employees and their family members
attend college. In addition, many local BCBS affiliates also support the
program by funding scholarships in the state or region where they
provide services. This cooperative effort led to an additional $91,000
in scholarships for the 2006-07 program.
BCBS FEP has also been an enormous help to FEEA and federal
employees when disaster strikes. In the immediate aftermath of the
9/11 terrorist attacks, BCBS electronically transferred $100,000 to
FEEA's bank account, allowing us to begin helping victims in a
meaningful way even before other donations started coming in. They
did the same in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina struck, providing the first
$100,000 in what would become a $1.8 million effort by FEEA to help
more than 4,000 federal families. BCBS's commitment to giving back
to federal employees by supporting FEEA truly makes a difference.

GEICO is the sole corporate sponsor of the FEEA emergency
assistance program. GEICO's contribution has enabled FEEA to help
increasing numbers of needy federal employee families each year.
Whether it's a personal emergency for one federal employee, or a
natural disaster affecting many, with GEICO's annual contribution of
$25,000 in the coffers, FEEA can always be prepared to provide loan
and grant assistance when disaster strikes.
GEICO also supports FEEA in the aftermath of major disasters, from
holding fundraisers to setting up a telephone call center for FEEA to
receive donations during the RFK Stadium concert benefiting the
victims of 9/11. GEICO's commitment to federal employees stretches
back to its founding as Government Employees Insurance Company
and continues today with the GEICO Public Service Awards and
sponsorship of FEEA.
Wright & Company, provider of supplemental insurance services to
federal employees for more than 40 years, has been a FEEA sponsor
since 2002, contributing at least $10,000 each year to scholarship
efforts. Wright & Co. has directly sponsored scholarship awards for
several of FEEA's special scholarships -- such as the Federal
Managers Association and Federal Aviation Administration Managers
Association programs -- as well as supporting FEEA's annual
nationwide program.
The Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program (FLTCIP), joins in
supporting federal employee scholarships with a $10,000 donation for
the 2007-08 program. FLTCIP was designed specifically to meet the
long term care insurance needs of federal employees and their
families and now increases its support by giving back to the federal
community through FEEA scholarships.
FEDS provides premier professional liability benefits to the entire
federal employee community. FEDS was founded by a former federal
employee and attorney who saw the benefits of professional liability
protection firsthand by defending federal employees in
employment-related matters. Both FEDS and its claims administrator
have a commitment to and understanding of the federal community,
demonstrated in the level of service they provide and in their support
of federal employees through sponsorship of FEEA's programs.
